Profile
幼少より、民謡、三味線を父である初代福島竹峰らに学び、その後、キングレコード専属で江差追分の大家である三島三秀に師事。
平成１１年（１９９９年）３月、二代目福島竹峰襲名いたしました。
熊本県内５０ヶ所の民謡教室を拠点に民謡竹峰流門下300名の指導のかたわら、日本の伝統文化振興、お座敷芸を伝える活動にもあたっています。
また、幼児教室、学校関係に、和楽器、三味線のワークショップ、公演や病院関係で民謡リハビリボランティアなども積極的に行っております。

As a child she learned a samisen (a three-stringed Japanese banjo)
And a Japanese folk song under the first Chikuhou fukushima．
in her teens she learned Naga-uta(traditional singing [chanting] to samisen accompaniment)and Yamato- Gaku(Modern Japanese music for koto, samisen, and shakuhachi)
In2000 she succeeded to the name of the second Tikuhou fukusima福島竹峰and has been teaching ｆor a disciple of the Tikuhou school．
Now she has been working on finding and research in Ozasiki- uta (A kind of entertainment song) of Kumamoto.
Also she organize a ‘Sinonomeza’東雲座 with Fujikawa izumi（player of kotoａｎｄ narimono（a musical instrument），
